Shorts weather

I just took some pictures of Elly in her cute outfit that she got from Grandma Sherrey for her birthday. I put her hair in ponytails, she is so cute. Jordan finally got to wear shorts. Hooray!

Happy Birthday Elly!!!

Today Elly celebrated her birthday! She turned 2 years old! I can't believe it. It just so happened that her birthday fell on a Friday which meant she had her birthday on Friday the 13th. Ooooh... We had a lot of fun. We had some friends and family come over for dinner, and dessert. We just want you all to know that we love and appreciate all of you. We missed all of you who couldn't be here tonight! We love you and wished you could have been here, but we know it is a long ways away (and gas prices suck right now) so we understand. Hopefully we will get to see you soon.

We sure do love our little Elly. She is a sweet girl. There are definitely times when she gives us a run for our money, but I think we'll keep her. The good far out weighs the bad. Here are a few of the pictures we took today!

Our Backyard!

This is what I am really excited about. Unfortunately it has been too cold to really enjoy it. I am looking forward to being outside alot this summer. If the weather would just agree with me and decide to be nice for a change. I really need some nice sunshine. I even have a garden. I just need to get it planted.

Our new home!

Here are some pictures of our house. Keep in mind we are still getting organized, but for the most part we are unpacked and moved in. There are just a few changes that I want to make, like new paint in some of the rooms, new carpet in the family room, new drapes, etc. But that will come with time. Here ya go! Anyone who wants to come visit is Welcome! We would love to have you.

My kids really love each other!

You know, there are days when I wonder if my kids actually love each other. They fight all the time. They play so well when they're alone and then all of a sudden, one gets the idea to harass the other one. What's the deal? So when I catch them in a rare moment of love. I try to capture it! It was so funny because Jordan and I are trying to potty train Elly. He is her coach. He wants her to potty in the toilet because when she goes he gets an m&m as well as Elly. SO... she had just finished "trying" to go. We went into her room to get a diaper on and Jordan rubbed her face and said "Elly you are so pretty" Then she smiled at him and gave him the hugest hug around his waist. It was sooooo cute.

Moved In!

Well... the day that we have awaited anxiously for has come and gone. We moved into our house on Friday night. We were supposed to be able to move in on Friday morning, but the previous owners took longer than they thought. We started at about 3:30 and we got everything we own, moved into the new house at 12:00. Not too bad. We had a LOT of help! A few of our neighbors and friends helped load everything. We owe ALOT to Vance and Rod Shurtliff. What good guys. They helped us sooooooooooooooooo much. They stayed and helped us get the final load at 9:30 and didn't finish until midnight. WOW! Not to mention they helped before then too, and they let us use their trailer. We couldn't have done it with out them. Shoot... We couldn't have done it without the efforts of everybody that helped. We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends. THANK YOU EVERYBODY THAT HELPED US! WE APPRECIATE IT!!!!!! (more than you realize!)
