My Obsession!

So some of you already know that I have been reading the "Twilight" series, by Stephenie Meyers. Oh my gosh, they are so good! I started it last Tuesday and I was done in 3 days. I read each book in a day. Now I am anxiously awaiting the last book called "The Breaking Dawn". I'm hooked. I wish that I could say that I don't care if I read the last one or not, but nope. I am completely and utterly addicted. I found out that they are making a movie about it and I am thrilled. If any of you get a chance to read it (I think it may be categorized as "chick flick" in the form of a book) do it! I'd love to hear what you have to say about it and wonder if I am the only one who is crazy about them.

Our 5 Year Anniversary

WOW!!! I can't believe that it has been 5 years since Ryan and I have been married. We have done alot and accomplished many things since then. We are truly blessed.

I want you all to know that I have the best man around. He is pretty amazing and he puts up with a lot from me! He can do anything. I am not kidding... he can build anything, fix anything, get anything done that he wants to. I know his dad has a lot of influence in his life and that he taught him many things, but there is nothing that he can't do. He makes me feel beautiful! Even when I feel like I'm not. I can tell he means it! He loves me and I know that he would never hurt me. He is a good father and he works hard to support our family. I am so lucky to be able to have found him. (I think I owe Reese that one, seeing as how he introduced us)

You know it is fun to reflect back on what was happening on this exact day 5 years ago. Man, that was an exciting day. The feeling in the air that day was incredible. I couldn't wait to become MRS. TAYLOR!!!

Shorts weather

I just took some pictures of Elly in her cute outfit that she got from Grandma Sherrey for her birthday. I put her hair in ponytails, she is so cute. Jordan finally got to wear shorts. Hooray!

Happy Birthday Elly!!!

Today Elly celebrated her birthday! She turned 2 years old! I can't believe it. It just so happened that her birthday fell on a Friday which meant she had her birthday on Friday the 13th. Ooooh... We had a lot of fun. We had some friends and family come over for dinner, and dessert. We just want you all to know that we love and appreciate all of you. We missed all of you who couldn't be here tonight! We love you and wished you could have been here, but we know it is a long ways away (and gas prices suck right now) so we understand. Hopefully we will get to see you soon.

We sure do love our little Elly. She is a sweet girl. There are definitely times when she gives us a run for our money, but I think we'll keep her. The good far out weighs the bad. Here are a few of the pictures we took today!

Our Backyard!

This is what I am really excited about. Unfortunately it has been too cold to really enjoy it. I am looking forward to being outside alot this summer. If the weather would just agree with me and decide to be nice for a change. I really need some nice sunshine. I even have a garden. I just need to get it planted.

Our new home!

Here are some pictures of our house. Keep in mind we are still getting organized, but for the most part we are unpacked and moved in. There are just a few changes that I want to make, like new paint in some of the rooms, new carpet in the family room, new drapes, etc. But that will come with time. Here ya go!
